2013 CTMH Holidays from the Heart Gift
Guide...
If you have come here from Norhalma's Blog, you are on the right path. Our Playing With Paper team is sharing artwork featuring
some of our favorite products from CTMH.
I created a Christmas card using White Daisy card stock for the card
base and one half sheet of B&T Duos paper - both included with the
Sparkle & Shine paper packet (X7176B). The tree was stamped using the My Acrylix® stamp
set Trim the Tree (A1149) in Juniper Ink (Z2165) then layered with one of the Sparkle Holiday Shapes (Z1910). The sentiment was stamped using the My Acrylix®
stamp set from the Workshops On The Go® Frosted Cardmaking Kit (G1063). The tree, sentiment and Zip Strip (coordinating decorative
trim cut off the B&T duo paper) were raised using 3-D Foam Tape (Z1151) and the corners were accented using four Bitty Sparkles (Z1263). Prior to assembly, the edges of the card base were inked with
a Sponge Dauber (Z726) and Ruby Ink (Z2170) and the edges of the other pieces were also inked with a Sponge
Dauber and Juniper Ink for added depth. It sounds complicated, but once I
decided on a layout it only took about 20-30 minutes to cut, ink
and assemble this 4¼" by 5½" card.
